PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown volleyball head coach Taylor Virtue has announced the Bears' 2023 schedule. Fans will have 10 chances to see the Bears play at the Pizzitola Sports Center.
Brown will begin its season with two games on Friday, Sept. 1. The Bears will kick off their season against Le Moyne at 1 p.m. before hosting Rhode Island at 6 p.m. On Saturday, Sept. 2, Brown will make the trip to Kingston for a road matchup against the Rams.
"I am excited to announce that for the second year in a row we will be opening our season at home, this year against Le Moyne and URI" said Virtue. "Keeping this in-state rivalry alive is great for Rhode Island volleyball. Our second weekend at George Mason will be a great homecoming for Kate Sheire, Jilienne Widener, Gabby Derrick and Ella Park. Beyond that, our UConn tournament will bring some great regional and national matchups that will prepare us for a challenging conference schedule."
