
Men's Tennis Drops Match to Dartmouth

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's tennis suffered a 5-2 defeat at the hands of Dartmouth College in the Ivy League opener Friday afternoon at the Pizzitola Sports Center.
The Bears fall to 13-10 overall and start conference play 0-1, while the Big Green advance to 11-9 and 1-1 in the league.
Despite a 6-3 victory at second doubles from seniors Niraj Komatineni and Matthew Mu, Dartmouth took the first point of the match with wins at first and third doubles.
Securing wins for the Bears in singles were Komatineni at first singles (6-2, 6-3) and senior Roger Chou at fourth singles (6-2, 6-2). Dartmouth came away victorious at second, third, fifth and sixth singles to take the match.
