
Equestrian Sees Two Riders Make Zone 1 Finals

ASHAWAY, R.I. – Three Bears took part in the Zone 1 Region 1 Finals for Brown equestrian on Saturday with two riders punching their tickets to Zone 1 Finals.
Captain Daphne Maniatis earned a win in the Limit Flat and a second-place finish in the Limit Fences to qualify for the Zone 1 Finals in both events.
Linda Wang won the Introductory competition, also earning a spot in the Zone 1 Finals.
Sophia Ekstrand finished just short of making the Zone 1 Finals, taking third in the Open Fences.
Maniatis and Wang will compete in the Zone 1 Finals on April 7&8 at Mount Holyoke.
