Doyle, Sikich and Bjornson of Women's Hockey Voted to All-Ivy Teams

PRINCETON, N.J. – Junior goaltender Kaley Doyle, sophomore defender Cameron Sikich and junior defender Sonja Bjornson were honored by the Ivy League for their performances this season. Doyle was named to the All-Ivy League Second team for the second-straight year, while Sikich receives her first postseason honor with an honorable mention nod and Bjornson was selected Academic All-Ivy.

From Livonia, Mich., Doyle once again proved to be among the top goalies in the conference. In eight Ivy League games, Doyle finished with a .932 save percentage and a 2.25 goals against average, which both ranked third in the league. She finished with four wins in the conference at Dartmouth (Oct. 28), at Harvard (Oct. 29), at Princeton (Jan. 21) and home against Harvard (Feb. 17). For the season, Doyle finished with two shutouts against Holy Cross (Nov. 22) and at Union (Feb. 4) and was once named the ECAC Goalie of the Week (Feb. 7).

From Thornhill, Ontario, Sikich tallied three goals and four assists for seven points and added 22 blocks on the defensive end in Ivy League competition. Sikich posted her first goal of the year in a win at Harvard (Oct. 29) and followed that up with two assists the very next game against Princeton (Nov. 4). Sikich added an assist at home against Cornell (Dec. 3), registered a goal and a helper in a win at Princeton (Jan. 21) and picked up her third goal of the year at Cornell (Feb. 10).
From Philadelphia, Pa., Bjornson maintained a 4.0 GPA for the fall semester and recorded one goal and five assists for six points with 22 blocks on the season.

Brown had its highest win total since the 2006-07 season and also swept Harvard for the first time since 1997-98. All three players are set to return to the roster for the 2023-24 season.
