
Swimming Breaks 800 Free Relay School Record in Night One of Ivy Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. - Brown women's swimming and diving set a school record on the first night of the Ivy League Women's Swimming and Diving Championships with a time of 7:11.35 in the 800 freestyle relay. The Bears currently sit tied for third after the first night of competition.
Brown began the night with a third-place finish in the 200 medley relay. The team of Jenna Reznicek, Ellie Brault, Yvonne Jia and Sam Scott finished in a time of 1:39.28.
In the only other event on the first night of the meet, the Bears set the school record by more than two seconds in the 800 free relay. The team of Anna Podurgiel, Morgan Lukinac, Kelly Dolce and Zehra Bilgin finished fourth in the event, while breaking the record that has stood since 2018.
Brown will begin the second day of competition with prelims on Thursday beginning at 11 a.m.
