Brown Drops First Road Test at Michigan State

EAST LANSING, Mich. -Â Brown men's tennis hit the road for the first time in the 2023 spring season and came up short, 4-1, at Michigan State Saturday afternoon.
The Bears got off to a promising start as the first doubles pair of sophomore Alex Finkelstein and freshman Noah Hernandez took a 6-3 win, but it was the Spartans who earned the 1-0 match lead, winning second and third doubles by scores of 6-4.
Senior Niraj Komatineni picked up a victory at fourth singles (6-3, 6-3) for the lone point of the day.
