Field Hockey Announces 2022 Schedule

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown field hockey head coach Britt Broady has announced the Bears' 2022 schedule. The 2022 slate features 10 non-conference games and seven Ivy League games with the Bears playing 11 games at Goldberger Family Field.
Brown begins the season with four consecutive home games on College Hill, beginning with St. Francis (Sept. 2) and Miami University (Sept. 4). The RedHawks captured the 2021 MAC Championship and advanced through the NCAA Opening Round with a win over Maine last fall.
Prior to the start of conference play, Brown heads south to take on Towson (Sept. 16) and VCU (Sept. 18) with both games being played on Towson's campus. It will mark the first meeting between the Bears and both teams in program history.
Brown hosts ACC power Wake Forest for the first time in program history in the non-conference finale on Saturday, October 23.
Bruno welcomes the Yale Bulldogs to Goldberger Family Field to kick off conference play on Friday (Sept. 23). The Bears close the Ivy slate in the 2022 regular season finale on Saturday, November 5 at home against the defending conference championship Harvard Crimson.

In total, Brown takes on five new opponents in 2022 with non-conference opponents from six conferences. In-state rival Bryant moved from the NEC to the America East conference.
