Women's tennis takes down Harvard
4/22/2022 7:57:00 PM | Women's Tennis
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Brown women's tennis team defeated Harvard 4-1 Friday afternoon.
"I was proud of our team for the fight they showed today," head coach Lucie Schmidhauser said. "It was a true team effort, on and off the court. I was so happy to have all three seniors (Sophie, Ryan and Julia) in the lineup and being an integral part of our win.
"Britany continues to provide consistent grit, effort and leadership at line 1 doubles and singles. Our freshman class came through for us today with Lindsey Hofflander clinching the doubles point (with Sophie Reddy), Addie beating a high-level opponent and Gabby Soliman clinching the match with a courageous win. I look forward to our last match against Dartmouth on Sunday, which is also our Senior Day."
Britany Lau, Gabby Soliman, and Addison Ahlstrom all won singles matches for the Bears. Lau and Ahlstrom also teamed up for a doubles win, as did Sophia Reddy and Lindsey Hofflander.
