Doyle Named to ECAC All-Rookie Team

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – Brown sophomore goaltender Kaley Doyle was awarded with another honor on Sunday following her breakout sophomore season, being one of six players named to the ECAC All-Rookie Team.
Doyle was previously named a finalist for ECAC Rookie of the Year earlier this week, the winner of which will be revealed on Wednesday, March 2.
Doyle stepped into the role of Brown's No. 1 goaltender early this season and had a breakout campaign, finishing the year by ranking third in the ECAC with a .940 save percentage in league games, and ranked fifth with 498 saves. Her six ECAC wins were tops among all rookie netminders.
She was in goal for all six of Brown's wins, including a pair of 1-0 shutout victories over Dartmouth on Nov. 12, and at No. 9 Quinnipiac on Feb. 19. She was twice named the ECAC Rookie of the Week, and once the ECAC Goaltender of the Week during the season. Over her last 11 games of the season, the Livonia, Michigan native posted a .944 save percentage and a 1.70 GAA, and was in net for all six of Brown's victories this season.
