
Women's Tennis Releases Spring 2023 Schedule

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's tennis Head Coach Lucie Schmidhauser has announced the spring 2023 schedule. The Bears will first face some local competition at home before the ECAC Championship and then will makes trips to Colorado and Texas prior the final Ivy League stretch to close the regular season.

"I am excited about this year's schedule," said Schmidhauser. "Our players will have many quality competitive opportunities, including playing against the reigning National Champions, the University of Texas. We also have quite a few home matches on our schedule and I am excited for our players to be able to compete in front of a home crowd."Â

The season begins on Jan. 21 against Binghamton for the first of three home dates. Brown then hosts Boston College (Jan. 24) and Providence and Colgate (Feb. 4) for its final tune-up before the ECAC Championship at Dartmouth College (Feb. 10-12).

From there, the team travels to Colorado to meet Denver (Feb. 19) and Colorado State (Feb. 20). Six more home matches are next against Villanova and Fordham (Feb. 25), Tufts (March 7), Bryant (March 10), UMass (March 12) and Marist and Boston University (March 18).

A trip to the Lone Star State to face Rice (March 26), Texas (March 28) and Texas State (March 29) is what is in store before the Ivy League portion of the schedule rolls around in April with Yale at home (April 1) for the final stretch of the regular season.
