
Men's Lacrosse Announces Incoming Class

Head coach Mike Daly announced a 15-player incoming class with 11 freshmen, three transfers, and one Team IMPACT addition joining the program.
The 2023 Bears roster features 50 student-athletes as well as Luke Colannino from Team IMPACT.
Kieran Anzelone
M | 5-10 | 180 | Potomac, Md. | Deerfield Academy (Mass.)
- Spent a post-grad year at Deerfield Academy after playing lacrosse and soccer at the Bullis School.
- First Team All-Founders League selection at Deerfield under head coach Drew Philie.
- Helped Bullis win two IAC Championships and a National Geico Title.
- Also competed with DC Express Black club team.
Why Brown?: Brown had the best of all the worlds I was looking into. Amazing academics, consistent accomplished lacrosse program, great coaches, great guys on the team, and great alumni connections.
PJ Behan

- Played lacrosse and football at Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School.
- Posted 76 goals, 120 points, and 122 ground balls in junior and senior seasons at MICDS.
- Two-year lacrosse captain and senior captain on the football team.
- USLacrosse and Adrenaline Lacrosse All-American as a senior.
- All-State football selection as a senior.
Why Brown?: I chose Brown because of the lacrosse program and family culture. I could not pass up the opportunity to play the sport I love at a top academic university.

Why Brown?: They have been several alumni from Belmont Hill who also went on to play lacrosse at Brown and all of them had amazing experiences. One person in particular who influenced my decision was Charlie Kenney. He played lacrosse at both Brown and Belmont Hill. He left such a great legacy at both institutions and I can only hope to mirror some of his amazing qualities.

Harry Laferriere

Why Brown?: I chose Brown because of the blend of elite academics and athletics. To be able to compete at the highest level of lacrosse all while receiving an Ivy League education is a dream come true. The brand new facilities, open curriculum, location in Providence, and sense of community were all also factors in my decision.
Gibson Linnehan

- Spent the 2022 season with the Providence College Friars in the Big East.
- Played in 13 games with six starts and accumulated 25 ground balls, 11 caused turnovers, and one assist with a pole.
- Captained the lacrosse and hockey teams at Princeton Day School.
- 2021 All-Prep First Team and Male Athlete of the Year.

Aidan McLane

- Posted 54 goals and 68 points in his senior season in 2021.
- Recipient of the Westfield Boosters Executive Committee Award, given annually to a student-athlete in recognition of hard work, dedication, and leadership.
