
Equestrian takes third at home show

WARREN, R.I. – Brown equestrian took home a third-place finish at its home show on Sunday, finishing with 31 points. Three riders for Brown finished in first place in their events.
Caroline Hwang finished in first place with seven points in the Limit Flat, Lauren Lee-Hing took first, earning seven points in the Prenovice and Linda Wang earned seven points with a win in the Introductory.
In the Open Fences, Sophia Ekstrand finished second and Charlotte Bain also represented Brown. The duo also represented Brown in the Open Flat with Bain finishing in fifth.
Amber Keown-Lang took fifth in the Intermediate Flat with teammate Sophie Butcher taking sixth. Both riders also represented Brown in the Intermediate Fences.
Daphne Maniatis finished second in both the Limit Fences and the Limit Flat.
Other riders for Brown were Sydney Fritz, who finished fifth in the Limit Flat, Orly Richter (3rd, Novice) Alix Hamon (6th, Prenovice) and Kaki Su (2nd, Introductory).

Brown will be back in action on Nov. 5 at the Roger Williams Show.
