Volleyball picked 4th in Ivy League Preseason Poll

The Brown volleyball team was picked to finish fourth in the Ivy League Preseason Poll, as announced by the league office Friday.

The Bears finished 2019 with a 13-10 record and a 5-7 mark in conference play. Brown has been on a steady upward climb the last few seasons. After finishing eighth in 2017, the Bears moved up to sixth in 2018, followed by their fourth place finish in 2019. It was the program's highest finish since it also came in fourth in 2014.

Yale was picked to finish first in the poll, followed closely by Princeton in second and Cornell in third. The poll was voted on by a panel of media members and sports information directors from across the league.

Brown's season gets underway on Sept. 3 at Bryant University.
