
Men’s and Women’s Soccer Earn Team Academic Award

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown University men's and women's soccer teams have earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2019-20 academic year, United Soccer Coaches announced on Thursday.
The team award recognizes exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2019-20 academic year. Brown is one of 172 schools to have both its men's and women's programs honored with the award.
College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2019-20 academic year.
Brown's men's program collected the honor for the 14th straight year, while the women's program garnered the award for the third time in the last four years.
A total of 889 college teams (333 men, 556 women) earned the Team Academic Award.
