Spring Senior Spotlight: Catherine Porter, Women's Crew

Brown University athletics will be recognizing the senior student-athletes who had their spring seasons canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Two senior student-athletes will be featured each weekday on Brownbears.com and various social media platforms, starting on Wednesday, April 1, through the end of May.

Accolades: 2019 silver medalist with the A varsity four at the Ivy League Championship … 2018 silver medalist with the third varsity eight at the Ivy League Championship … 2017 Ivy League champion in the C varsity four … Two-time participant at the NCAA Championships (2018, 2019), including as an alternate in 2018.

Favorite experience as a Brown student-athlete?
"One of my favorite student-athlete experiences would be beating California at Natoma in the A4+ last spring." (The Bears beat the Golden Bears by 2.45 seconds – 7:16.26 to 7:18.71 – at the 2019 Lake Natoma Invitational in Gold River, Calif.)
