Spring Senior Spotlight: KC Williams, Women’s Lacrosse

Brown University athletics will be recognizing the senior student-athletes who had their spring seasons canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Two senior student-athletes will be featured each weekday on Brownbears.com and various social media platforms, starting on Wednesday, April 1, through the end of May.

Hometown: Duxbury, Mass.
Sport: Women's Lacrosse
Concentration: Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations
Accolades: Team Captain … Ranks 22nd all-time at Brown in career draw controls (58).
Favorite experience as a Brown student-athlete?
"It is extremely hard to pick just one favorite experience over the past four years as a Brown student athlete because so much has been memorable. One particular experience that stands out was my sophomore year over winter break the women's lacrosse team traveled to Portugal and Spain. Having this time with my team was extremely special and memories of surfing on the coast of Portugal and playing against the Dutch national team will be things I will forever hold in my heart."
Favorite class at Brown?
"My favorite class I have been able to take at Brown was called Politics of the Illicit Global Economy. I finished concentration requirements and the open curriculum allowed me to explore new things especially during my senior year. This past fall I was able to take this political science class about the illicit global economy, which allowed me to learn about a new topic and approach learning a different way. My professor was extremely passionate about the material, which made for engaging and interesting lectures and discussions."
