Brown University athletics will be recognizing its fall senior student-athletes who have had their season put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Senior student-athletes will be featured during the week on Brownbears.com and various social media platforms.
Â
Name:Â BJ Ubani
Hometown:Â West Covina, CalifÂ
Sport:Â Football
Concentration:Â Computer ScienceÂ
Â
Plans after graduation:
During my time at Brown, I was able to co-found a social media startup which launches this fall. After graduation I plan to continue my work with tagg as the Chief Operations Officer, and pursue my dream of changing the world through technology. Â
Favorite spot on campus:
My favorite spot on campus is definitely the main green during the early fall and late spring. It's always nice going there and running into your different group of friends, or even just relaxing out on the grass and enjoying the nice sceneryÂ
Favorite activity outside of your sport:Â
My favorite activity outside of my sport would definitely be traveling and trying new foods outside of my culture. The current pandemic has definitely put a halt on that, but hopefully my cooking skills will allow me to still try out new foodsÂ
Most memorable game:
My most memorable game was the first time I started my sophomore year vs cornell. In the first quarter of the game I was able to get my first interception of the season, followed by my first sack, and forced fumble which was really cool.Â
