Women’s Golf Opens Fall Season With 6th Place Finish At Dartmouth Invitational

Hanover, N.H. - The Brown women's golf team placed sixth at the 36-hole Dartmouth Invitational in the coaching debut of Bears' head coach Jackie Beck. Brown shot 300-303—603 at the Hanover Country Club.
Harvard earned a first place finish by 14 shots with a 36-hole 576. Stetson placed second at 590, followed by Yale (593), Dartmouth (600), Brown (603), Quinnipiac (603), Boston U. (607), Albany (617), Siena (628), Hartford (631), Sacred Heart (644) and Merrimack (666).
Freshman Amanda Levy was at the head of the class for the Bears, shooting 75-72—147 to place 11thindividually. Junior Brittany Park and sophomore Hailey Freedman each shot 151 with Park shooting 73-78 and Freedman carding scores of 76-75.
Sophomore Roshannah Gaur came in at 78-78—156, as did junior Winnie McCabe, who shot 76-80—156.
The Bears return to the links at the Princeton Invitational, September 28-29.
