8/6/2019 8:49:00 AM | Women's Golf
Providence, R.I. - Danielle Griffiths, the head women's golf coach at Brown since 2007, has stepped down as coach of the Bears to pursue other interests.
Griffiths left her mark on the Brown women's golf program after taking over as head golf coach 12 years ago, rebuilding the squad into a contender at the Ivy League and regional level.
A native of Anderson, Indiana, Griffiths was named the 2018 Ivy League Coach of the Year after guiding her squad to a third place finish at the Ivy League Championship, leading the tournament after the first two days. She also recruited and graduated four-time All-Ivy selection and former Ivy League Individual Champion Christine Kim '18. In addition, she coached 2018 Ivy League Rookie of the Year, Brittany Park '21.
A national search for her replacement will begin immediately.
