Brown Athletics Hosts Annual Vartan Gregorian School Celebration

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown Athletics hosted its annual Vartan Gregorian Elementary School celebration and banquet on Wednesday, April 24 at the Nelson Fitness Center with members of the Brown and Vartan communities coming together for a night of recognition.
Brown student-athletes and administrators from all 38 varsity programs teamed with teachers and administrators from Vartan Gregorian School to honor the elementary school children with achievement awards.
Victoria Flowers – Brown's Student-Athlete Services Coordinator – served as the master of ceremonies for the event with over 100 attendees. Overall, more than 15 Classroom Award Scholars from the Fox Point school earned a special certificate of achievement.
Bruno, Brown's mascot, made an appearance at the event, greeting students and families as they arrived on College Hill.
