
Women’s Lacrosse’s Mosenthal Earns Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week for Third Time

PRINCETON, N.J. – Sophomore Risa Mosenthal (Campton, N.H.) of the Brown women's lacrosse team was named the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season, in an announcement by the conference office on Monday.
Mosenthal set a school record for goals in a game on Sunday, recording nine in a 19-13 win over Fresno State. The nine goals also tie six other players for the Ivy League record. For the week, Mosenthal led the Bears in scoring with 12 points, all on goals. She had a team-high three goals at No. 17 Florida on Tuesday.
The attacker has registered a hat trick in nine of of her 10 games played this season. She has also recorded at least two goals in each of her 25 career games. With Sunday's total, Mosenthal eclipsed the 100 goal mark for her career and now has 101, good for seventh all-time in the Brown record book for a career. Her 46 goals this season are also already tied for fourth all-time with Kerri Whitaker '96 for a single season effort.
Brown will next host No. 9 Penn on Saturday, April 6 in a pivotal conference matchup starting at noon at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
