Throughout the month of February, Brown Athletics will celebrate Black History Month through the "28 Days of Black at Brown" series. Each day during the month, the Bears will recognize African Americans who have made an impact on the university community and beyond.

Brown's first-ever Ivy League Player of the Year in men's basketball, Peter Moss '80 finished his career with 1,241 points, ranking as Brown's sixth all-time leading scorer at the time of his graduation. When he concluded his career, he stood eighth or higher in 12 different Brown scoring categories, including sixth in career points per game (15.9), sixth in career field goals (467), fifth in career field goal percentage (.514), seventh in career free throws (307), seventh in career free-throw percentage (.767), and fifth in single-season points (540). A two-time All-Ivy selection, Moss led the Ivy League in scoring as a senior with 21.2 points per game.
