Equestrian Ties for First Place in Team Standings at Roger Williams Show

TIVERTON, R.I. – Brown University equestrian tied for first place in the team standings at the Roger Williams University IHSA Show on Saturday at Nora Harris Equestrian in its fourth show of the season.

The Bears tied for the top spot in the team standings behind three blue ribbon performances.

Junior Hannah Woolley (Medfield, Mass.) won a blue ribbon in open fences and also competed in open flat.

Senior Katrina Heilbroner (New York, N.Y.) took first place in intermediate flat while also taking part in intermediate fences.

Senior Renee Seto (Barrington, R.I.) gained a third-place finish in limit fences alongside a fifth-place finish in intermediate flat. Sophomore Elena Newman (Gainesville, Fla.) and senior Rebecca Lee (Guilford, Conn.) both represented the Bears in limit flat.

In pre-novice flat, freshman Daphne Maniatis (Chevy Chase, Md.) placed first, and sophomore Maya Taylor (Albuquerque, N.M.) came in sixth. In introductory flat, junior Audrey Kim (Bronxville, N.Y.) finished in second, and freshman Grace Skavdahl (Harrison, Neb.) came in third.

Next, Brown competes at the University of Rhode Island IHSA Show on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Mystic Valley Hunt Club in Gales Ferry, Conn.
