Bears Complete Fall Season at the Hamptons Intercollegiate

East Hampton, N.Y. – Competing at the famed Maidstone Golf Club on the East End of Long Island, the Brown men's golf team placed 9thwith a 54-hole 976 on rounds of 319-326-334 in the Hamptons Intercollegiate. The competition for coach Mike Hughes' squad was its final of the fall season.
Oregon State earned the team championship by 32 shots with a 54-hole 890, followed by Loyola-Maryland (922), Richmond (923), Seton Hall (927), Yale (932), Princeton (933), Cornell (943), Penn (943) and Brown (979).
Freshman Ford Bennett paced the Brown team and finished 32nd individually with a 54-hole 239 on rounds of 78-81-80. Freshman Luca Jezzeny and sophomore Cole Kemmerer each shot 245, with Jezzeny shooting 80-83-82 and Kemmerer coming in with scores of 80-79-86.
Senior Kenneth Li came in with rounds of 85-83-86—254, tied with senior Chuck Isgar, who shot 81-87-86.
