Women’s Golf Wraps Up Fall Season With 2nd Place Finish at Sacred Heart Fall Classic

Milford, Conn. – Brown women's golf wrapped-up its 2019 fall season with a second place finish at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic, held at the par 72, 5879-yard Great River Golf Club. Coach Jackie Beck's squad shot 312-319—631 to finish second, six shots behind Hartford.
The Hawks shot 304-321—625 to win the team championship, followed by Brown (631), Sacred Heart (633), Hofstra (646), Merrimack (656), LIU-Brooklyn (678) and Fairfield (728).
Sophomores Roshannah Gaur and Pinya Pipatjarasgit finished in a fourth place tie individually with Gaur shooting 77-80—157 and Pipatjarasgit coming in at 79-78—157.
Bears' junior Winnie McCabe came in with scores of 76-82—158 to place sixth individually, while freshman Amanda Levy shot 80-84—164, good for 18thplace individually. Sophomore Hailey Freedman placed 19thindividually after shooting 86-79—165.
