Women's Golf Continues Fall Schedule at Florida International Jupiter Women's Invitational
Jupiter, FL - Brown continued its Fall schedule with a 10th-place finish at the Jupiter Women's Invitational on scores of 308-316-317--941 in the 54-hole tournament played at the par 71, 6045-yard Jonathan's Landing Golf Club.
Host Florida International captured the team championship by eight shots with a 54-hole 876, followed by Florida Gulf Coast (884), Georgia Southern (894), Lynn (896), Florida Atlantic (901), Nova Southeastern (904), Keiser (917), Lamar (918), Bethune Cookman (821), Brown (941) and Holy Cross (1046).
Coach Jackie Beck's team was paced by sophomore Roshannah Gaur, who placed 15thindividually in the 65-player field shooting 78-73-74—225. Freshman Caroline Garay finished second among the Brown players with a solid tournament on rounds of 77-78-79—234.
Freshman Amanda Levy turned in scores of 77-85-76—240, while junior Brittany Park shot 76-82-86—244. Sophomore Hailey Freedman also scored for the Bears with rounds of 80-83-85—248.
Brown will wrap-up its fall schedule at the Sacred Heart Invitational, October 20-21, at the Great River Golf Club.
