2018-19 Complete Schedule
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – First year Brown women's hockey head coach Carisa Wahlig has announced the program's 2018-19 schedule. The Bears will host 17 games at Meehan Auditorium and compete in 12 road contests.
The 2018-19 campaign begins with a home-and-home series with Holy Cross on Friday, Oct. 19 and Saturday, Oct. 20, with the season-opener held on College Hill. Brown will then welcome UConn for a weeknight game on Tuesday, Oct. 23, followed by the start of ECAC play at Quinnipiac (Oct. 26) and Princeton (Oct. 27).
The Bears welcome their first conference opponents on Friday, Nov. 2 and Saturday, Nov. 3 in Colgate and Cornell, respectively. After two away contests at RPI (Nov. 9) and Union (Nov. 10), the Bears will host seven-straight home games, staring with a series against North Country foes Clarkson (Nov. 16) and St. Lawrence (Nov. 17).
Boston University and Providence wrap up the first half of the season with the game against the Terriers on Tuesday, Nov. 27 and the 24th Mayor's Cup on Tuesday, Dec. 4.
A non-conference series versus RIT opens up the New Year on Friday, Jan. 4 and Saturday, Jan. 5. A home-and-home with Yale gets the Bears back into the conference swing, with Brown traveling to New Haven, Conn. on Friday, Jan. 11 before hosting the series finale in Providence the following day, Saturday, Jan. 12.
Brown next makes the trek to St. Lawrence on Friday, Jan. 18 and gives defending NCAA Champion Clarkson a visit on Saturday, Jan. 19. Union (Jan. 25) and RPI (Jan. 26) follow with a trip to Providence before the Bears compete in their first games versus Dartmouth (Feb. 1) and Harvard (Feb. 2) on the road.
Princeton (Feb. 8) and Quinnipiac (Feb. 9) follow at Meehan Auditorium before Brown closes out the away slate on Friday, Feb. 15 at Cornell and Saturday, Feb. 16 at Colgate.
