
Men’s Tennis Adds Three to the Class of 2022

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's tennis head coach Tim Gray has announced the three-member class of 2022, which is set to join the program for the 2018-19 season.
"I am extremely excited about our incoming freshmen," Gray said. "They will definitely make an immediate impact. We also have a very talented group of returning student-athletes that will help our newcomers get acclimated to college life and the rigors of balancing it all."

Alan Arocho
Hometown: Norridge, Ill.
High School: Loyola Academy
Before Brown: Played No. 1 for Loyola Academy for three years … Won Sectionals as a senior … Three-time team MVP … Won conference all three years played … Finished high school ranked No. 113 in the nation, No. 10 in the Midwest (singles), No. 3 in the Midwest (doubles) and was a high 4-star recruit … Chicago District Qualifier in 2018 … Won the Midwest Open in 2017 … Clinched the win with his match at the 2018 Midwest Davis Cup for Chicago, beating Ohio Valley in the finals … Two-time State winner for ping pong … Named Clavius Scholar … Member of the National Honor Society … AP Scholar with Distinction … National Hispanic Scholar … Graduated with summa cum laude honors.
