Women’s Hockey Lands 22 on 2017-18 ECAC All-Academic Team

ALBANY, N.Y. – The Brown women's hockey team placed 22 student-athletes on the 2017-18 ECAC All-Academic Team, the ECAC Hockey conference office announced on Tuesday. Brown and Yale led the league with 22 honorees while Colgate (20) and St. Lawrence (19) and Harvard (19) followed. Players are eligible for the All-Academic Team if they earn a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or have a GPA over 3.00 over the past three semesters.
The Bears' 22 honorees are the most in program history, tying the 2016-17 squad, with the ECAC All-Academic Team selections starting with the 2002-03 season. In addition, senior Cynthia Kyin (Skokie, Ill.) was named to the Commissioner's List, which showcases each program's top scholar from the 2017-18 season.
