Three Brown Women’s Golfers Honored By The Women's Golf Coaches Association As All-American Scholars For 2017-2018

CORAL SPRINGS, Florida – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars were announced today with Brown senior Christine Kim (San Jose, CA), senior Sienna Chapman (Racine, WI) and sophomore Haley Mander (Holmdel, NJ) being named along with a total of 1,011 women's collegiate golfers recognized from around the country.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.

Kim is a former Ivy League individual champion and the ninth player in Ivy League history to be a four-time All-Ivy selection. An Academic All-Ivy selection in 2016, she had 13 Top 10 finishes in her career, including six as a senior. Chapman earned All-Ivy honors as a junior after placing eighth at the Ivy League Championship. A 2017 WGCA Scholar All-American, Chapman also earned Academic All-Ivy honors her junior year. Mander competed for the Bears at the Boston College Invitational, the Brown Bear Invitational and the St. John's Intercollegiate in the fall.
