
Women's Lacrosse's Hudgins Selected for IWLCA All-Star Game

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's lacrosse senior defender Marissa Hudgins (Syracuse, N.Y.) earned a spot in the 2018 IWLCA Senior All-Star Game in an announcement made by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association on Friday.
The All-Star games (Division I-III) will take place at the US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. at Tierney Field on Saturday, June 2. The Division I teams will play the first game at 11:30 a.m. with Hudgins competing for the North Team. Admission for all three games is free of charge. The contests will also be streamed live on IWLCA-tv.com.
Hudgins was named Second Team IWLCA All-Northeast Region and First Team All-Ivy after leading the Bears in caused turnovers (24) while ranking second in draw controls (49). In conference play, Hudgins was second in caused turnovers, averaging 1.60 per game. Her 24 caused turnovers on the year are tied for 12th at Brown for a single season while her 49 draw controls are ninth. Hudgins concluded her career at Brown second all-time in caused turnovers (79) and 10th in draw controls (88).
