
Women's Lacrosse's Bigelow Named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Brown women's lacrosse sophomore Maggie Bigelow (Montclair, N.J.) was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week on Monday in an announcement made by the conference.
Bigelow led the Bears to a 2-0 record last week with two non-conference victories. The goalie made 10 saves against Louisville on Wednesday, March 28 in a 17-10 triumph, her third-straight game with double digit saves. On Saturday, March 31, Bigelow made seven saves in 42:28 minutes of action in a 15-4 win. For the week, Bigelow had an 8.20 goals-against average and a .548 save percentage.
The Bears next return to Stevenson-Pincince Field to host No. 23 Cornel in a pivotal Ivy League match-up on Saturday, April 7 at 1:00 p.m. on the Ivy League Network and ESPN3.
