SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The Brown men's tennis team was defeated by San Francisco, 4-1, on Wednesday at the Olympic Club.
The Dons were able to win the doubles point with victories in order from first to third doubles. Junior Charles Tan (Austin, Texas) opened singles with a 6-1, 6-1 victory for the Bears to tie the match in sixth singles, but San Francisco would record wins in first, fourth and third singles to take the match.
The Bears will remain in California and next play at UC Davis on Saturday, March 31 in a 3:00 p.m. ET match.
