
Men's Tennis Bests Boston College, 4-2

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's tennis team defeated Boston College, 4-2, on Tuesday at the Pizzitola Sports Center to improve to 9-2 on the season.
Doubles opened with the Eagles taking the second and third matches to take a 1-0 lead overall.
The Bears then dominated singles play, winning four next five singles matches to claim the victory. Sophomore Jacob Walker (Bethesda, Md.) posted a 6-3, 6-1 win in second singles and was followed by freshman Ching Lam (Sai Kung, Hong Kong) in third, 6-2, 6-1. Junior Charles Tan (Austin, Texas) was next in the fourth spot with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 win while senior Aaron Sandberg (Hudson, Ohio) registered a 6-3, 6-3 triumph in fifth singles.
The Bears next host NJIT on Sunday, Feb. 25 at the Pizzitola Sports Center at 8:30 a.m. on the ILN.
