Complete 2019 Schedule
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's lacrosse team released its 2019 schedule on Thursday, Nov. 8. The 15-game slate features contests against four opponents that earned NCAA Tournament berths last season.
Brown opens its season with four-consecutive road games, starting with a close trip to Hamden, Conn. on Saturday, Feb. 16 to face Quinnipiac. The Bears next play at Ohio State on Monday, Feb. 18 before the team competes at Iona on Saturday, Feb. 23. Brown's first Ivy League match-up closes out the away span with a contest at Dartmouth on Saturday, March 2.
The Bears home opener comes against Bryant in the 10th Annual Ocean State Cup on Wednesday, March 6 at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
Brown is quickly back on the road versus Navy * that weekend, Saturday, March 9.
Yale comes to Providence for the Bears' first home Ivy League match on Saturday, March 16. Brown plays in its second-straight conference game and will travel to New Jersey to square off against Princeton * on Saturday, March 23.
A non-conference game at Florida * (Tuesday, March 26) breaks up three-straight home games, starting with a home contest against Sacred Heart on Saturday, March 30. Fresno State comes to town the following day (Sunday, March 31) and Penn * visits on Saturday, April 6.
A game at Cornell closes out the away slate for the Bears on Saturday, April 13.
Brown will host Harvard (Saturday, April 20) and Columbia (Saturday, April 27) to close out the regular season, with Senior Day at Stevenson-Pincince Field scheduled against the Lions.
The Ivy League Tournament will be held on Friday, May 3 and Sunday, May 5 with the site to be determined. The conference's top four teams will compete in the tournament.
