Women’s Rugby Falls at Harvard

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Brown women's rugby team was defeated by Harvard, 76-7 on Saturday afternoon at Mignone Field. Senior Louise Leitao (Porto Alegre, Brazil) scored for the Bears on the day.
The Crimson (5-1) would jump out to a 40-0 lead by halftime and open the second with five tries.
Brown (2-3) got on the board towards the end of the frame when Leitao put down a try. Sophomore Olivia Duba's (San Ramon, Calif.) kick was successful for seven points. Harvard added a try as time expired for the final of 76-7.
Brown will next host Norwich in its final regular season match on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 11:00 a.m.
