Women’s Golf Hosts Brown Bear Fall Invitational

Providence, R.I. – Brown women's golf will conclude its fall schedule by hosting the annual Brown Bear Fall Invitational, Sunday and Monday, October 14 and 15, at the par 72, 6123 yard Ledgemont Country Club in Seekonk, Mass.

The 2018 tournament field includes host Brown, along with Albany, Appalachian State, Dartmouth, Fairleigh Dickinson, Lehigh, Monmouth, Princeton, Quinnipiac, Siena, St. John's and Wagner.

All competing teams will be asked to wear pink in Monday's final round in support of breast cancer awareness.

Brown coach Danielle Griffith's team has had good success in the fall, finishing fourth at the Boston College Invitational, seventh at the Dartmouth Invitational and seventh at the Yale Invitational.

Sunday's opening round of 18 holes will commence with tee times, starting at 10:00 am. Play will conclude on Monday with a shotgun start at 9:15 am.

All results will be posted on Golfstat immediately following the completion of the day's round.
