Women's Squash Takes Down Virginia, 6-3

Providence, R.I. - #13 Brown and #16 Virginia battled at the Pizzitola Sports center with the Bears coming out on top of a 6-3 decision, winning all five matches at the top of the lineup.

Senior Quincy Beck paced the Bears at number one with an 8-11, 11-2, 11-3, 11-4 victory at number one. Freshman Alexa Jacobs cruised to a 3-0 win at two, followed by sophomore Hannah Seckendorf winning, 3-0, at three, junior Katrina Northrop taking a 3-1 decision at four and freshman Catherine Kimmel earning a 3-1 victory at five. Sophomore Scarlett Bergam came through at seven with a 3-1 win.

Brown will head north and play at Bates on Saturday, January 27 at 4:00 pm and then on to Bowdoin on Sunday, January 28.
