Ziegler, Butterbrodt Win, Wrestling Falls at No. 18 Lock Haven, 31-7

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Juniors Tucker Ziegler and Ian Butterbrodt both picked up victories to close the dual meet, but Brown University wrestling fell to No. 18 Lock Haven University, 31-7, on Sunday afternoon at Thomas Fieldhouse.
The Bears (2-4, 2-1 EIWA) won the dual's last two matches after the Bald Eagles (9-1, 2-0 EWL) took the first eight bouts.
Ziegler (Myersville, Md.) and Butterbrodt (North Andover, Mass.) each went 3-0 on the weekend after earning wins at Franklin & Marshall and Bucknell on Saturday.
At 197 pounds, Ziegler gained the Bears' first win of the day with a 4-2 victory over Trey Hartstock via decision. He improved his dual meet record to 5-1 on the year.
Butterbrodt captured an 11-2 major decision win over Derek Dragon at 285 pounds. He posted his second major decision of the season.
Next, Brown wrestles at No. 11 Cornell on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 1:00 p.m.
