
Women's Lacrosse's Bre Hudgins '14 Drafted by the UWLX's Boston Storm

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's lacrosse assistant coach and former attacker Bre Hudgins '14 was drafted by the Boston Storm of the United Women's Lacrosse League (UWLX) on Monday night.
The UWLX is the first professional women's lacrosse league and will enters its second year of operation, with the 2017 season kicking off on Memorial Day weekend.
Hudgins, who is in her third season as the Bears' assistant coach, graduated in 2014 as one of Brown's most prolific scorers. Hudgins earned back-to-back Second Team Northeast All-Region honors in 2013 and 2014. Her 40 goals in 2014 were the most at Brown since 1990. Hudgins ranks second in Brown history with 136 career goals and third with 167 points. As a senior, Hudgins also earned First Team All-Ivy accolades. Over her career, she was named First Team All-Ivy twice and made the Second Team as a freshman.
