Men's Hockey's Lafferty, McArdle Collect All-Ivy Accolades

PRINCETON, N.J. – Junior Sam Lafferty (Hollidaysburg, Pa.) of the Brown men's hockey team was named Second Team All-Ivy, and junior defenseman Josh McArdle (Roscoe, Ill.) earned Honorable Mention honors, the league announced Thursday.
Lafferty, who earned All-Ivy honors for the first time in his career, leads the team with 33 points and 21 assists and ranks second with 12 goals. The top line center and assistant captain has played in all 29 games this season and is averaging 1.14 points per game. He has nine multiple-point games, including a pair of four-point performances.
McArdle was named All-Ivy for the first time in his career after appearing in 27 games this past season. An assistant captain, McArdle served as part of Brown's top defensive pairing during the season, adding five assists during conference play.
The Bears open up the ECAC Tournament on Friday, March 3 when they visit fifth-seeded Quinnipiac in a best-of-three first round matchup at 7 p.m. All three games will be played at High Point Solutions Arena in Hamden, Conn.
