
Equestrian Places Second at Assumption Show in Fall Finale

OXFORD, Mass. – Brown University equestrian placed second at the Assumption College IHSA Show on Sunday at Four Winds Farm to close out its fall season.
As a team, the Bears finished first or second in six of their seven shows in the fall.
Sophomore Dominique Carlo (Dorado, Puerto Rico) earned a blue ribbon while senior Anna Seto (Barrington, R.I.), senior Madison Kuhn (Lancaster, Pa.), and senior Genoveva Eguiguren (Quito, Ecuador) posted second-place performances.
Senior captain Sara Nordstrom (Medina, Wash.) came in sixth place in both open fences and open flat.
Anna Seto notched a second-place showing in intermediate fences while freshman Hannah Woolley (Medfield, Mass.) came in fourth in intermediate flat.
Kuhn placed second in novice fences, and sophomore Renee Seto (Barrington, R.I.) came in fourth in novice flat. In walk-trot-canter, Eguiguren placed second, and in walk-trot, Carlo won her class.
Next, Brown will resume its season in the spring.
