Brown Women's Lacrosse Named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Squad

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's lacrosse team was named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association's (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad for the team's efforts in the classroom during the 2015-16 academic year.

The Bears were one of 93 Division I institutions to record a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the 2015-16 season. All eight Ivy League schools earned Academic Honor Squad recognition for this past season.

The IWLCA named a total of 276 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA to IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squads for the 2015-16 academic year. In order to qualify for the honor, a team must have posted a 3.0 or higher team GPA for the year.
