
Men's Soccer Adds Stricklin to Coaching Staff

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Friends of Brown Men's Soccer Head Coaching Chair Patrick Laughlin has announced that Torrey Stricklin will join the program as a volunteer assistant coach for the upcoming season.
"It's great to have Torrey Stricklin join our staff," said Laughlin. "Torrey is a motivated young coach who is going to make the most of this opportunity. I am looking forward to seeing his continued development as a coach and leader while at Brown."
Stricklin was a four-year member of the men's soccer team at Gordon College, where he graduated with a degree in Social Work in 2016. He was appointed team captain at Gordon as a senior in 2015. He previously served as a volunteer assistant coach at Gordon and earned summer coaching experience at Gordon, Brown and the United States Naval Academy. Stricklin is currently coaching at Bruno United FC and holds an NSCAA National Diploma.
A native of Warwick, Rhode Island, Stricklin was a three-time All-City selection at Bishop Hendricken, and also earned First Team All-State, All-Region and All-Conference accolades.
