Women's Lacrosse's Walsh Selected to IWLCA Division I North-South Game

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's lacrosse senior defender Richael Walsh (Westwood, Mass.) earned a spot on the 2016 IWLCA North-South Game in an announcement made by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association on Friday.

The All-Star games (Division I-III) will take place at Cabrini College on Saturday, June 4. The Division I teams will play the first game at 11:30 a.m. with Walsh competing for the North Team. Admission for all three games is free of charge.

Walsh, a two-year captain for the Bears, was named Second Team All-Ivy and starting all 15 games, leading the team in ground balls (23), was second in draw controls (19) and tied for third in caused turnovers (9). The defender tallied five goals, including a two-goal game at Columbia (April 16).
