
No. 68 Women's Tennis Edges Boston University, 4-3

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The No. 68 Brown women's tennis team edged Boston University, 4-3, on Friday.
The Bears started off with two doubles victories to claim the point. Junior Dayna Lord (Bloomfield, Conn.) and Alyza Benotto (Los Angeles, Calif.) took their match, 6-2. Senior Hannah Camhi (Woodbury, N.Y.) and freshman Katie Ta (Mission Viejo, Calif.) won second singles, 7-5, to capture the point.
For singles play, Lord won her first singles match, 6-2, 6-3, while Benotto followed in the second spot with a 6-4, 7-6 win. Camhi was victorious in third singles after falling in the first set, 4-6, and won the second and third sets, 6-3, 6-2. The Terriers won the next three singles matches but the Bears' doubles point proved to be the deciding point.
The Bears return to the court tomorrow (Sunday), hosting No. 71 Old Dominion for a 10:00 a.m. match.
