
Women's Rugby Falls at Dartmouth in Ivy Semifinal, 45-14

HANOVER, N.H. – The Brown women's rugby team was defeated by Dartmouth, 45-14, in the Ivy Championship Semifinals at Corey Ford Field on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Louise Leitao (Porto Alegre, Brazil) and senior Sofia Rudin (Baltimore, Md.) recorded tries for the Bears.
Dartmouth took a 28-0 advantage into halftime, off of four tries and four successful conversions.
The Big Green opened the second half with a try to take a 33-0 lead. The Bears next recorded a try from Leitao and added a successful conversion kick from junior Beth Clifton (Attleboro, Mass.) to bring the game to 33-7. Dartmouth then registered two tries and one conversion kick to take a 45-7 advantage.
Rudin next notched a try for Brown and Clifton recorded another successful conversion kick to bring the score it its final of 45-14.
