PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's soccer team will return Ivy League action on Sunday when the Bears play host to Cornell (1 PM) at Stevenson-Pincince Field.

LAST TIME OUT
Brown most recently fell to No. 3 Clemson, 3-2, on Sunday. Facing a two-goal deficit at halftime, Tyler Long scored a pair of goals within a five-minute span to even the score, but the Tigers answered later in the stanza to hold on for the win. Teo Norhagen stopped two shots in the first half, before giving way to Joey Cipicchio at halftime, who made one save in the second stanza.
SCOUTING CORNELL
Cornell (1-10-2, 0-3) heads into Providence after falling to Yale, 3-0, last weekend. The Big Red picked up their lone win of the season against Colgate, 3-2, on the road. George Pedlow and Jonathan Cullom pace the Big Red offense with five points, while three other players also have two goals apiece. Ryan Shellow has played a majority of the time in goal and checks in with a 2.41 GAA and a .676 save percentage. As a team, Cornell is goals against average (2.87) in three league games.
LAST TIME AGAINST CORNELL
Brown picked up a 1-0 victory at Cornell in last year's meeting between the two teams. Matthew Chow scored the only goal of the game off a corner kick, while Teo Norhagen secured the shutout in net.
IVY RANKINGS
As a team, Brown leads the Ivies in goals against average in league games, allowing just two goals (0.62) in three contests. Individually, Nico Lozada leads the league with six assists.
COMING UP
After Cornell, the Bears will visit Penn next Saturday (10/29) at 7:30 PM.
