Swimming & Diving Teams Earn Scholar All-America Status

NORFOLK, Va. – The Brown men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been named College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Teams, in an announcement made by the organization on Wednesday. To achieve the honor, teams need to have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2015 fall semester. Brown is one of 359 colleges and universities to make the list.

The men's team tied for fifth overall with Georgetown for the best team GPA coming in with a 3.39 average. The women's team had a 3.5 team GPA that put them tied for 26th with Dartmouth, Evansville and Xavier.

Both teams will next compete at Cornell on Saturday, Jan. 30 with the meet starting at 9:00 a.m.
