
Track & Field Wraps Up Boston Twilight Meet, ECAC/IC4A Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's and women's track and field teams put up some solid results over the weekend as the Bears competed at the IC4A/ECAC Championships at Princeton and the New Balance Boston Twilight meet at UMass-Lowell.
At the New Balance Boston Twilight meet, junior Ned Willig (Phoenixville, Pa.) finished the 1,500 meters in a regional-qualifying time of 3:44.97, a personal record and seventh-best time in program history.
In addition, Christian Bermel (Windsor, Conn.) took fourth in the 400 meters at 50.53, and Michael Wyman (Marion, Mass.) finished the 800 meters in a time of 1:53.82. On the women's side, Sarah Yoho (Pasadena, Calif.) completed the 800 meters in a time of 2:21.16, Joelle Feinberg (Port Washington, N.Y.) crossed the 1,500 meters at 4:39.87, and Megan Ratcliffe (Carlisle, Mass.) competed in the 3,000 meters at 10:13.29.
At the ECAC/IC4A Championships at Princeton, rookie Josie Natrasevschi (Fort Collins, Colo.) claimed first place in the discus at the ECAC Championship Friday evening as she topped the field of 24 with a winning toss of 167-07 for her third victory of the season. Additionally, junior Kebbeh Darpolor (Pecos, Texas) took sixth in the discus with a toss of 151-02. She placed third in the event at last week's Ivy Championship.
For the men, junior Matthew O'Hara (Riverside, Calif.) was seventh in the hammer throw at the IC4A championship with a toss of 190-08, while junior Phuong Truong (Tacoma, Wash.) was eighth in the discus at 165-00.
